No new posts since July. Very poor effort on my behalf. The good news is my running has been going well and I have got into the Virgin Marathon 2012. The only down side has been an ankle sprain from a trail run, and a knee strain gained running on sand from my holiday in October (this may have been caused by running 7 straight days and 11 days out of twelve). Nevertheless the knee holds up when running (it crunches and clicks when twisted though - must get it looked at).
Two running highlights of the period below from my Garmin 305:
I have been running regular 10 milers since July and on Saturday 20th November ran my first longer run - 15 miles in just under two hours and felt good - last 4 miles at 7.15 pace and could easily (speculates!)have got to 20 miles at the same pace.

In September I ran 8 miles in 55 mins 30 secs. The last 4 miles in 25.20 - so 6 mins 20 secs pace - very fast for me!

Regular updates will continue from now on.
